Our client is a leading supplier of Energy Power products and solutions based in Sydney’s South West. Due to rapid growth, our client is seeking a professional and proactive Business Development Manager to be apart of their supportive team.
The Position
- Responsible for external sales in the business targeting the Power and Utilities market
- Work productively with consultants, contractors and key decision makers to develop strong relationships within the Power/Energy/Utilities market
- Actively seek out new project opportunities whilst maintaining/developing existing relationships
- Managing a realistic sales budget and finding innovative ways to achieve set goals
- Self management and keeping up to date in the market to ensure
To be considered for this opportunity, you will be/have:
- Highly motivated and independent Business Development professional with demonstrated experience targeting the Power/Energy and/or Utilities market (minimum 3 years)
- Knowledge and experience in Relays, Power Protection, Smart Network infrastructure, MV Circuit Brakers, UPS Systems and/or similar field
- Entrepreneurial thinker with ability to think outside the square and prioritise appropriately
- Ability to work independently as well as apart of a well paced team
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with great ability to build strong relationships and deliver premium service
- Tertiary engineering degree in Electrical Engineering will be highly desired
