Nurse Coordinator for Care Coordination, QI Accreditation BCBSKS is looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable professional responsible for coordination and collaboration with Utilization Management (UM), Case Management (CM), and Disease Management (DM) regarding care coordination activities to include all internal department areas as well as directed external communications with providers to improve member health outcomes. Innovation to increase member involvement, compliance and self-care responsibility is desired. QUALIFICATIONS: Required: EDUCATION: Masters, Baccalaureate, Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing. Current unrestricted Kansas RN licensure. EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5 years clinical experience required. SKILLS: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Understanding of current provider medical utilization practices. Must have a valid Kansas driver license. Preferred: EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years of case or disease management experience desired. Experience in applying statistics to quality management research preferred. Experience with Excel spreadsheets desired.
