An excellent opportunity to work for a leading not for profit charitable trust based across Lincolnshire, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire. They operate over 70 homes across the 4 counties and care for over 3,500 residents. They have an exciting new job in one of its care homes based in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire who specialises in caring for elderly clients with dementia.
Job
The trust are looking for a Nursing Home Manager who will be responsible for the management of a 36 bed Nursing Care Home and you will be required to manage the day to day running of the home. This will include the management of all staff, efficient and effective day to day running of the Nursing Care Home and in addition managing a 14 bed Intermediate Care Unit. The main aim will be to ensure resident well being by promoting the philosophy of privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights and fulfilment within a policy of managed risk taking.
Skills and Qualifications
Qualified Registered General Nurse,
Registered Managers Award or be prepared to work towards,
Experience of leading and managing people
Possess computer literacy, confidence, innovation and excellent organisation and influencing skills,
Must be an outstanding communicator, a team builder and flexible.
