FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER
Full-time or Part-time position for a family nurse practitioner to provide clinical care to individuals w/ developmental disabilities in a 130 bed facility in Mantua, Ohio in our community based group homes in Cuyahoga County. Responsibilities include performing acute chronic medical care; collaborating with Medical Director to ensure an effective medical plan of care; performing annual histories physicals; participating in medical case management; assessing new admissions; serving on various internal medical committees. One (1) year clinical experience w/ the developmentally disabled preferred, but would train new graduate. The qualified candidate will possess a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio and Advance Practice Nurse, Board Certification; have an MS in Nursing; must be able to meet specialty board re-certification requirements. Must have demonstrated positive inter-personal skills; be a critical thinker has exhibited good judgment in evaluating complex clinical problems; excellent organization skills to coordinate care among specialists.
