Responsibilities Under the supervision of a designated collaborating physician, provides advanced nursing care to patients and staff, performs occupational medicine physicals. Formal Education Required: a. Masters Degree in Nursing b. Completion of Nurse Practitioner program in area of expertise c. National certification as ACNP d. Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Ohio e. Current Certificate of Authority to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Ohio Experience Training Required: a. Minimum 5 years experience as a Registered Nurse. b. Completion of orientation program successfully, supervised by a designated physician/ACNP Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications: a. BLS/ACLS certification b. Collaborates with other team members and works harmoniously with others. c. Demonstrates flexibility to meet the ever changing needs of patients, health care team members and program. d. Provides necessary care of adult patients as required by position and requested by institution. e. Population Specific Competency: Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity Schedule variable
