Nurse Practitioner (Family Medicine-Part-time) Job
Job Description: Works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary health care team to provide a comprehensive health care assessment to patients in the designated specialty. Conducts comprehensive health assessments, demonstrates a high level of autonomy, and possesses expert skills in the diagnosis and treatment of complex responses of individuals to actual or potential health problems. Formulates clinical decisions to manage acute and chronic illness and promote wellness. Integrates education, research, management, leadership and consultation into their clinic role and function in collegial relationships with nurses, physicians, professionals, and others who influence health care. Basic Qualifications: Masters degree in Nursing required. (If licensed prior to 1998, Masters degree not required by the State of Florida.) Current Florida ARNP License required. Certification by the ANCC in a specialty area required. Other Qualifications: Two years experience in Family Medicine or Primary care preferred,. BLS preferred. License or Certification: Current Florida ARNP license required. ANCC Specialty certification required. Benefit Eligible: Yes Exemption Status: Exempt Hours/Pay Period: 40 (20 hours per week) Schedule Details: Monday-Friday; 8:00 a.m.-5 p.m. Weekend Schedule: N/A Compensation Detail: Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum salary every two weeks is approximately $2,814.40, based on a full-time position.
