NORTHRIDGE HOSPITAL MEDICAL CENTER

The Nurse Recruiter/ HR Consultant for Northridge Hospital Medical Center will coordinate the recruitment and retention program for professional nursing and nursing support positions; locates and recruits qualified nursing personnel through multiple mediums, while seeking to secure the most highly trained new graduate RNs and experienced nurses. Screens and evaluates applicants to ensure an appropriate match between the RN and the hospital culture. Works together with management to keep nursing staff turnover as low as possible utilizing an effective retention program. Works and communicates collaboratively with management and HR team on a variety of HR issues. Promotes a positive image of Northridge Hospital Medical Center and represents the hospital at community and school events.

Education Requirements: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Human Resources and/or related healthcare field required. Master's degree preferred. CA RN license preferred.

Experience: Minimum three to five years of healthcare related experience as a hospital /nurse recruiter with strong HR background. Excellence in team work and interpersonal skills required. Strong analytical, oral and written communication skills required. Microsoft Office applications, ATS (VURV/TALEO), HRIS system experience.
