Hays Healthcare has a great job opportunity for a Band 6 Nurse, to ensure the participants are efficiently completing their assessments through the different measurement stations within UK Biobank, a large long-term study in the UK which is investigating the respective contributions of genetic predisposition and environmental exposure to the development of disease, based in Qatar.
Hays require the nurse to conduct participant assessments in accordance with standard operating procedures, conducting medical interviews and collecting samples of blood and other fluids from participants. You will be auditing standard operating procedures and ensure staff follows SOPs protocols and program.
You will direct and assist participants through their re-assessment centre visit and maintain general cleanliness/tidiness of the assessment centre as delegated by either the team leader or clinic manager and ensure the measurement station is correctly set-up and complete.
It is essential for this role to have proven venepuncture skills, excellent communication skills, and basic IT skills. You must be able to follow standard operating processes/procedures, present a professional image at all times.
