Closing Date: 12/9/11 at 5 PM
Full time, 9-month teaching position in medical surgical nursing,
starting the Spring 2012 semester. Teaching responsibilities
include classroom lecture, clinical supervision of students, course
and curriculum development, student advising, accurate
maintenance of student files. Full time faculty fully participate in
nursing program development and evaluation, college activities
and committees, and represent John Tyler Community College
at community events and professional opportunities.
Our Nursing Education Center is located
on the campus of CJW Hospital in Midlothian, VA.
(Starting date is January 3, 2012.)
Masters Degree in Nursing required, PhD in nursing preferred.
Minimum of two years of recent medical surgical nursing
experience required. Academic teaching experience desired.
