We are seeking a compassionate and creative Nursing Home Administrator to oversee the provision of high-quality care
and maintain full capacity at our 100 bed nursing home in Shrewsbury Ma.
As administrator, you will be responsible for the leadership, management and over all success of the center. Your responsibilities will include family service, resident care, financial management, quality assurance, regulatory management, business development goals and maximization of revenue. In addition, you will be responsible for attracting, developing and retaining top talent and also supervising and training high-quality team members.
As a Nursing Home Administrator, you will ensure that our facility operates in an efficient and profitable manner. You will also implement performance improvement initiatives to ensure that we provide our residents with the excellent standard of living and care that they deserve.

Job Requirements
- As the Home Administrator, you must possess strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with patients, families, physicians, community resources and the general public. You must also have exceptional communication and marketing skills.
- Exceptionally strong financial management including annual operational budget preparation and allocating resources to carry out our programs successfully.
- Desire to enrich patient and resident lives.
- Nursing home administrator license (LNHA) required.
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration or related field preferred.
- Ability to ensure the delivery of quality care and services to residents.
- Skill set needed to develop and maintain positive employee and community relationships.
- Managing the development and implementation of departmental policies and establishing rapport with and between departments so they can each see the importance of their contributions to the facility.
- Demonstrated knowledge of interpreting financial records and reports.
- Ability to plan, develop and implement the programs, policies and procedures, etc. necessary for providing quality care and maintaining a sound business operation.
- Knowledge of reimbursement regulations and nursing practices and procedures.
- Ability to follow all applicable policies and procedures as well as current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern long-term care.
Additional responsibilities of the Nursing Home Administrator include:
- Recruiting, hiring and training competent and committed staff.
- Reviewing and interpreting monthly financial statements.
