Nursing Staff Development Coordinator Job in Paducah 42001, Kentucky Us
· Plans, organizes, directs and delivers orientation and in-service education programs to all direct care staff to assure the highest standards of quality resident care.
· Assesses staff performance and education needs based upon observation, assessment, and facility quality indicators and develops educational programs to meet staff, resident, and facility needs.
· Communicates and coordinates staff development needs and programs with the Director of Nursing.
· Maintains records, reports and instructional manuals pertinent to the educational program.
Qualifications Skills
· RN Licensed in the state of KY
· Minimum 2 years long term care experience.
· Experience developing and delivering education programs.
· Knowledge of adult education principles.
· Knowledge and understanding of state and federal nursing facility regulations.
· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent computer skills.
Availability
Monday - Friday
Salary
Beginning wage starts at 22.00 - 24.00 per hour, based upon experience. Excellent benefits.
