Nutrition Associate Supplemental/PRN - Food and Nutrition Job
Job Description: ***Supplemental/PRN Mayo employee are not eligible for benefits and there is no guarantee of hours.*** This position is responsible for the daily patient meal selections within the patient?s diet restrictions. Also is responsible for interviewing patients for food allergies and preferences. The individual must demonstrate knowledge and skills with patient nutrition intervention and diets. The ability to access data reflective of the patient?s status, and appropriately interpret information relative to patient?s age-specific needs. Proficient computer skills necessary for daily tasks. Basic Qualifications: Requires one year experience in a food service position. Enrollment in an approved ADA Diet Technician program required. Other Qualifications: Completion of an ADA-approved technician program preferred. Must have good interpersonal skills and a good understanding of special diets, either through coursework or on-the-job training. License or Certification: Maricopa County Food Service Worker license must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained thereafter.
