Occupational Health Nurse/Advisor

Hays Healthcare have a fantastic opportunity for an occupational health nurse/advisor to work in a temporary, four month contract role for their client, a global healthcare company that researches and develops innovative pharmaceutics, vaccines and consumer healthcare products.

Based in Maidenhead, the role offers some flexibility and work/life balance, as it is a three day a week 7.5 hours per day, position.
As an experienced occupational health nurse, with an Occupational Medicine diploma, you will have a high degree of autonomy and job satisfaction, as you will be managing your own case load but working within a team of other OH and safety specialists. The main focus is to protect and enhance the health, wellbeing and performance of employees. You will develop and maintain close working relationships with line managers and HR/Safety professionals to manage work-related ill health and capability issues. You will deliver a business travel clinic, carry out Health monitoring , provide ergonomic support and advice to employees and managers, amongst other OH requirements with advice and support.

We seek a solution focussed problem solver, experienced in absence case management, who is able to analyse and identify health trends, monitor workplace hazards and improve employee awareness, performance and well being. The nurse will also possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior management and staff with the demonstration of expertise in OH service delivery and health surveilance.
