Occupational Therapist - FT days, every other weekend

The Occupational Therapist establishes
and evaluates treatment programs for
patients whose abilities to perform
daily living tasks and vocational tasks
normally performed at his/her stage of
development are threatened or impaired
by developmental deficiencies, the aging
process, environmental deprivation, physical
illness, injury, perceptual, cognitive and
psycho-social deficits. Teaches patients,
family members and students. Participates
in program development and quality
assurance. Bachelor of Science degree or
Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at
an accredited university. Current license to
practice Occupational Therapy in the state of
Ohio. AOTA membership is desirable. Good
interpersonal skills are necessary in order to
effectively interact with physicians and other
clinicians, patients and families. Requires
critical observation skills and creative
problem solving abilities. Must be able
to apply activity analysis in the selection/
adaptation of therapeutic activities.

COTA – FT days, every other weekend

Provides direct patient care under the
direct or indirect monitoring of a licensed
Occupational Therapist. Documents patient
care department standards. Completion
of an accredited program for Occupational
Therapy Assistant. Current licensure in the
state of Ohio. One to two years experience
preferred. Communication skills are
necessary to effectively relate with patients,
families, team members, volunteers,
physicians and the community. Responsible
for the treatment of a variety of clientele
and clinical diagnoses (CHF, TKR, CVA,
COPD, TBI, etc.) of multiple age ranges,
but primarily 55 and older. May oversee
performance of COTA student.Learn more at;
