Ocean Imports Co-Ordinator – Freight Forwarding
Job Vacancy: Ocean Imports Co-Ordinator - Freight Forwarding - Felixstowe
Opportunity to join this global freight management company within its UK Imports division.
Based in Felixstowe, you will be joining a well established, global freight management company, as an Ocean Imports Co-Ordinator, offering an excellent package including a profit related bonus scheme. You will have specific industry experience within all aspects of ocean import operations, and a good knowledge of the industry.
Duties:-
- Managing critical deliveries for 20 + Accounts
- Cross Trades and Import Shipments
- Obtaining bookings with receiving warehouses
- Day to day liaison with overseas agents
- Ensure clients requirements are met, dealing with queries and managing pro-actively
- Providing individually tailored service to clients - PO management, online PO tracking system, tracking spread sheets, palletising, storage arrangements etc
- Daily liaison with company's nominated palletisation and distribution warehouse
- Ensure deliveries take place within 7 days of vessel arrival
- Customs clearance and delivery arrangements (UK Imports)
Package:-
Salary of £ 21,000 + (DOE), paid overtime and profit related bonus scheme.
