This global manufacturer of medical equipment has a long history of developing both innovative and reliable products. Their portfolio of equipment ranges from Endoscopy and consumable products through to a range of orthopaedic implants and fixation devices. Although the majority of their manufacturing is done off shore it is all done in house, in either Europe or the US which ensures that they can fully endorse and guarantee their range. Here in Australia they have had a presence for over 25 years and in that time have built up a cult like following, amongst surgeons in particular, which has already given them a high percentage of market share across their ranges. This business has a training budget for everyone from MD through to receptionist, given the MD started as a sales executive, this business demonstrates that once you are in the door anything is possible.

The Vacant Position

We are currently looking for a Supply Chain Administrator to join a close knit, high performance team. This vital role acts as an all rounder to the National Warehouse Manager and Distribution Manager and your task will be varied and challenging, giving you the opportunity for both scope in your data to day activities and the ability to demonstrate as much initiative as you posess. You will be involved in project work, day to day runnings of a national team and varied administration work.

Experience Required:

For your application to be successful you will need to have a strong work ethic combined with excellent communication skills and the ability to think outside the square. Supply chain experience is not essential but will be beneficial.  You present as customer focused and must be able to handle numerous tasks at once and be comfortable working under pressure. Exposure to an ERP system such as JD Edwards or SAP would be desirable but not essential.  Familiarity with medical terminology or similar technical background is not mandatory but would be advantageous.
