Ability to Obtain Interim and/or Final Clearances (Post Start) - US Citizenship Required about security clearance definitions Position Description Excellent opportunity for seasoned (10+ years of experience) administrative professional to support the Vice President, Business Development Strategic Missile and Defense Systems, for Boeing Defense, Space Security (BDS) Business Development located in Arlington, VA. Duties include working with the Vice President to control the calendar and personal accessibility; managing and updating the filing system; timely and accurate expensing; compiling information on meeting topics and participants; distributing assignments based on commitments and deadlines and follow up as required; facilitating business travel and related logistics for the Vice President. Compose documents and/or delegate actions based on the subject matter and awareness of Vice Presidents business priorities. Analyze, initiate and implement continuous improvements of administrative processes and procedures; and assist customers with answers or information based on the subject matter. Act as a representative for the Vice President. Process and screen incoming and outgoing communication for review, signature, disposition, and filing. Safeguard confidential information. Work with other Boeing Defense Systems and Business Development Office Administrators in the area to provide administrative support where needed. Basic Qualifications For Consideration Do you have work experience using Microsoft Office products including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint? Do you have a minimum of 5 years experience supporting executive level management? Typical Education/Experience High school diploma or GED and typically 7 or more years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Other Job related information Must possess a high level of proficiency in using Microsoft Office products including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint; exhibit mature and independent judgment, initiative, flexibility and superior organizational skills; highly responsive to the needs generated by the day-to-day activities of the Vice President and the organization; able to plan tasks; and lead in a team environment. Prefer minimum associates college degree; experience using Boeing tools such as Travel Manager, TRIPS (Travel Reservation Internet Processing System), EBC (Expense.Boeing.Com), and SSPN (Shared Services Procure/Payables Network); and thorough knowledge of company office practices and technology, applicable policies and procedures, and organization office information workflow and structure. Business needs will require work outside of normal hours.
