Our client, a well-established local firm specializing in wholesale of private label home furnishings has an immediate opening for an Office Assistant to join their team at their South Plainfield office.
The candidate we’re looking for will assist the company President and staff with order entry, routing, invoicing and online billing, compliance and reporting, filing, client and vendor correspondence, general day-to-day office support, and special projects upon request.
To succeed in this position you must be a self-motivated, detail oriented individual with good communication and organizational skills. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is particularly important. You should be the kind of person who enjoys learning and excelling in new areas and improving processes and procedures where possible.
To qualify you should have 5+ years of related office experience and strong MS Office Skills. Previous experience with Great Plains software and EDI are helpful credentials.
