Office Management / Research and Administration – Hedge Fund recruitment
Responsabilities:
Research responsibilities include:
• Gather, filter and distribute daily news, research and company filings for existing and prospective investments
• Maintain a database of company contacts, earnings release dates, conference calls and presentations
• Track broker and other conferences
• Handle all research requests and prepare research materials for the investment team
• Create new deal files when deals are announced
Administrative responsibilities include:
• Attend to reception desk and hospitality services: answer main office number, provide phone coverage for investment team, meet and greet guests and visitors
• Coordinate travel arrangements in accordance with Firm policies
• Process expense reports; maintain accounting of personal charges; reconcile monthly credit card statements; review and forward invoices for processing
• Coordinate conference room booking and catering, including set-up/break-down for meetings and maintaining proper appearance/cleanliness of rooms
• Miscellaneous facilities responsibilities which may include:
• Maintain office, pantry and postage supplies
• Organize courier and messenger service requests and deliveries
• Coordinate day-to-day facilities issues and repair reuests
Qualifications:
• Act as after business hours point of contact for office emergencies
• Process New Joiners (compliance, security access, desk set up, emergency contact details, etc)
• Coordinate and plan office events including industry events, holiday dinner and various ad hoc events
• Solid relevant experience in hedge fund or banking environment
• University degree required
• Must be detail oriented and possess superior organizational skills
• Ability to think quickly, critically and objectively
• Self-motivated and proactive
• Strong communication skills, articulate and resourceful
• Proven team player
• Strong computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Bi-lingual English and Chinese (speak, write, read)
