Office Manager Job in Danvers 01923, Massachusetts US
Reporting directly to the Nurse Manager, this position will be responsible for all day to day administrative operations in the center. Focusing on the implementation of strategic business initiatives, the position will be responsible for establishing and managing business related priorities, reviewing operational issues to identify opportunities for improvement and initiating new systems/programs to address these opportunities. Additional specific responsibilities will include the following:
- Management/supervision, training, and scheduling of the administrative staff.
- Oversee billing, charges, budget and purchasing.
- Working closely with all providers in the Center to schedule clinic time and allocate operational resources including rooms, staff, etc.
- Works closely with all department services and the medical staff to insure quality patient care.
- Coordinates monthly interdisciplinary team meetings for all pain center providers.
- Service excellence/customer service.
- Patient flow/efficient processing.
- Revenue cycle management including charge capture/entry.
- Readily participates in daily clinic activities and performs/covers staffing shortages in times of need.
- Serves as the marketing/communications leader.
- Coordinates and implements planning to review operational goals and objectives.
- Accountable for creating a culture of compliance, ethics and integrity.
- Maintains knowledge of and assures departmental compliance with policies and procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
- Responds appropriately to observed fraud or abuse.
- IT/EMR Clinic leader
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business, or health care administration with a minimum of 5 years of recent experience coordinating operations for outpatient clinics. Experience in coordinating operations for a pain clinic preferred.
