Office Manager

This position acts as office manager that supports a sales team of 100 + associates. This individual is integral to the management team and ensures the effective operation of all functions. Directly supervises a team of 3-6 administrative support staff, delegates assignments appropriately and oversees the day-to-day workflow of the office. Position reports directly to the Assistant Vice President of Area Sales. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Recruits, trains and manages a competent staff. Prepares all confidential communication for the department Assistant Vice President. Establishes standard office procedures on behalf of entire office facility in conjunction with the field management in the office. Handles all Payroll and Human Resources issues for the office and serves as the primary contact for the HR and Finance departments. Attends and coordinates all department meetings. Assists in the administrative training for new field management team members, assists with the communication of policies and procedures set forth by the Assistant VP of the department, and handles field restructuring / realignment requests. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Completion of a two or four year degree Minimum of two years previous supervisory (hire, train, performance management) experience Minimum of two years previous office management experience Demonstrated ability to motivate and develop a cohesive support team. Excellent planning and organizational skills, strong customer service skills, and the ability to interact in a professional manner with all levels of the organization. Demonstrated computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: · Completion of a four year degree · Office management or supervisory experience in a sales organization · Executive Assistant experience
