Office Manager Job in Pompano Beach 33064, Florida US
Sterling Autobody is currently looking for an experienced Office Manager for our Pompano Beach, FL store.
This is a full-time position. The store hours are Monday through Friday 7 am to 6 pm and Saturday 8 am to 2 pm.
Automotive/autobody industry experience, a plus.
The Office Manager leads the front office staff and assists the General Manager in the delivery of processes and superior communication to achieve an extraordinary customer experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Attract, select, develop and retain key talent
- Lead, coach and mentor the front office team
- Foster positive morale and work environment within the store
- Drive positive customer experience outcomes
- Vendor relationship management
- Maintain the following reports and records: account payable and receivable, financial data and employee data
- Identify new and more cost effective solutions
- Maintain a positive, friendly, clean work environment
- Minimal local travel required
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2-5 years applicable experience
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Valid driver’s license required
- Knowledge of general accounting and financial management information systems
- Demonstrated supervisory experience
- Candidate interviewing experience
- Understanding of human resource management policies and practices, including compliance with all applicable federal, state and local employment related regulations
- Strong organizational skills, time management and negotiation skills
- Detail oriented, team player and ability to handle multiple tasks
- Energetic, self-motivated and dependable
- Excellent telephone, oral and written communication skills
- Strong presentation skills, able to lead meetings
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Full understanding of estimating systems a plus
- Understanding of safety policies and practices
