Office Manager Job in Rhinecliff 12574, New York Us

Busy, well-established small business in the mid-Hudson Valley seeks experienced, full-time office manager with supervisory background, knowledge of HR policies (both federal and NYS), and bookkeeping/accounting know-how. Current working knowledge of Mac OS X highly preferred.

Duties will include:

• Interfacing with contractors and vendors on a daily basis
• Reviewing and reconciling invoices
• Interacting with customers (registration issues, A/P follow-up)

There will also be other administrative tasks as needed/required, and our ideal candidate will be able to work solo, without direct supervision.  There's always something to do, but this position is not for someone seeking an active social life on the job.

We dress informally, but require a professional phone and in person attitude. We encounter stressful situations, but require a cool and creative demeanor. We're a technology company, but seek excellent writing skills, polished verbal ability and a fine, human touch.  Most of all, we need someone who can self-start, make smart decisions for both customers and company, and agree to say YES in the face of change.
