Officer, Client Operations Assistant Pricing Manager recruitment

We have a number of opportunities for experienced Assistant Pricing Manager’s to join a growing department at State Street in the Life Pensions and Regulated Funds Pricing teams; within this role you will be responsible for managing a busy team and the daily production of prices performing final checks to ensure accuracy.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage all team deliverables with effective utilisation of resource with the support of the Pricing Manager and identify any issues/problems in the service delivery while taking remedial action when needed and keeping the Pricing Manager informed
• Act as a focal point for contacts and meetings with other departments and external contacts such as custodians, trustees, investment managers, auditors etc and providing technical expertise on the service provided
• Participate in Service Reviews and ad hoc client meetings
• Provide daily / weekly management information to the Pricing Manager which clearly identifies the progress of the team
• Ensure effective logging and resolution of enquiries within agreed timescales
• Monitoring errors, potential losses and breaches; completing loss or breach documentation and ensuring that remediation and training needs are identified and completed
• Hold regular team meetings and one to ones to ensure regular communication with employees. Communicate effectively with clients, third parties and colleagues
• Ensure the immediate line manager and others, as appropriate, are kept aware of all issues/problems/queries/work in progress that may impact the quality of service being given
• Keep up to date with legislative and regulatory changes affecting the business

For the role of an Assistant Pricing Manager, we are looking for candidates who have a proven track record of working in fund accounting/pricing ideally with an exposure to Life Pensions Pricing or Regulated Funds Pricing.  In addition to this, applicants must have experience of training, supervising staff and have the ability to manage the day to day workflow of a pricing team.    Candidates will also ideally be educated to degree level (or equivalent) and studying towards a professional qualification or have completed the Investment Operations Certificate (IOC). 

Also individuals must have excellent numerical, problem-solving and analytical skills, coupled with strong interpersonal, communication and organisation skills.
