Job Description

Member of the Credit Middle Office Trade Support Team. Candidate will provide support to traders with regard to ensuring that all deals are captured in the bank's systems correctly and are maintained throughout the life of those deals. Operations are the processes by which the firm can deliver value to customers. These processes embody the firm's capabilities, and critically affect how successfully the firm competes and how effectively it improves itself. The trade support unit is an integral component of the Global Trading Business within Bank of America, and is the first line of defense in combating operational risk.

Responsibilities

· Identification and resolution of booking, system and process issues.

· Establish relationships across departments to ensure structures are appropriately captured for accounting, valuation and settlement purposes - approving new product initiatives

· Work closely with Traders to resolve and escalate Risk and PL issues.

· Implement improvements to the system infrastructure control environment

· Work with technology team and other lines of business to execute user testing and project implementation related to our credit trading system

Requirements

· University degree

· Strong background and experience of Credit Products from a Middle Office or Back Office background

· Excellent organizational skills are required with the ability to prioritize daily workload whilst working accurately under pressure.

· Strong communication and negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships across all levels of seniority

· Ability to rapidly learn and understand new tasks presented and quickly commit to memory in a high volume environment, flexible to work outside of core hours

· Logical approach to problem solving taking ownership and offering practical solutions

· Proven analytical skills including data reconciliation and interpretation

· Ability to identify and deliver process improvements

· Competence in excel (macros,formulas)and outlook
