Officer – Real Estate loan workout & recovery recruitment
This opportunity will allow the candidate to gain deep exposure and involvement in maximising the loan recovery for non performing and distressed real estate assets.
Key tasks responsibilities:
Ø Assist the team Manager in managing the team’s loan portfolio.
Ø Ensure the administration of the team’s portfolio is carried out to the highest standard, including preparing business plan decision letters, maintenance of the business plan tracking system, preparing facility and instruction letters, completing legal and drawdown documentation and inputting information onto the various Bank systems.
Ø Monitor and maintain tight control as appropriate over all relevant cash inflows from borrower assets.
Ø Assist the Assistant Manager / Manager to conduct due diligence on assigned cases and put forward best alternatives for maximum loan recovery.
Ø Prepare credit papers, as appropriate that require minimal input from the Assistant Manager / Manager and to present same to Credit Committee.
Ø Prepare regular monthly reports and complete ad hoc reports as required
Skills Experience required
Ø Real estate lending or lending support
Ø Working in a loan restructuring environment and dealing with loans of a complex nature where a Receiver or Administrator has been appointed would be a distinct advantage
Ø Ability to write and present standard credit applications and complete associated loan documentation obtaining technical guidance as required
Ø Strong analytical and numerical skills
Ø Demonstrate ability to assess credit risk, to write and present real estate credit applications and complete associated loan documentation obtaining minimal technical guidance as required.
Ø Strong cash flow analysis skills.
