This Public Sector Government Organisation in Geelong requires an experienced OHS / Workcover Claims Officer to join their team for a 6 month full time assignment.

The primary function of the role is to assist the corporate OHS advisor with the identification and implementation of OHS projects and initiatives as well as assist the injury management administrator with the return to work management. You will be involved in implementing systems and processes to improve these functions as well as develop and implement projects that support the current risk management strategy.

You will have a demonstrated knowledge and understanding of OHS legislation, workcover, standards and codes of practice. Relevant tertiary qualifications in OHS or Allied Health with workcover experience is essential for you to be successful in this role. Your extensive experience with Return to Work Coordination as well as completion of a WorkSafe approved 'Return to Work Coordinator' course would be highly advantageous.
