Environment Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources.

Houston, TX - Oil Gas Environmental Remediation - Engineer III
 We are looking for an Environmental Remediation Engineer for our Houston, TX office with 8-10 years environmental experience. The candidate will be responsible for performing field activities and other project services associated with conducting site assessments and remedial investigations. Minimum requirements for this position include knowledge of geological/hydrogeological field procedures, gathering, interpreting, and reporting of field, chemical, and test data generated from site assessments and remedial investigations. Additionally, the candidate may be required to interact on a professional level with clients, landowners, operations personnel, and/or subcontractors when in the field. In addition, they must be able to plan, organize, and supervise field activities and effectively communicate with project management and field staff. Excellent writing skills are required. Candidate must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (i.e. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Up to 60% travel may be required. B.S. or higher in engineering (civil, chemical, or environmental preferred).

The selected candidate will be required to take 40 hour HAZWOPER training if they do not already have it. In addition, the candidate will also be required to attend an annual HAZWOPER refresher class. Based upon the type of work to be performed, the candidate must be able to pass requirements of an OSHA screening physical (HAZWOPER).

Position Requirements:
 - Bachelor or advanced degree in a relevant technical discipline with 8+ years preferred technical experience (Environmental Site Assessments and Remedial Investigations, Soil Sampling, Groundwater Testing, etc.)
- Professional Engineer
- Must be willing to travel, an estimated 60% of weekly time will be spent in the field.
