Oil Operations Executive (Petrochmical)
Physical Oil Operations Executive, Commodities, Petrochemicals, Location: Singapore, Salary: highly competitive role:
We are currently working with an exciting commodities trading house based in Singapore who are looking for a senior operations executive for their physical oil cargoes.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure timely update of trade information into the system.
• Ensure proper credit facility in place for each shipment.
• Handle contract countering, L/C negotiations, payments and claims.
• Manage vessel operations, cargo stowage plan and demurrage calculations.
• Ensure adequate cargo insurance coverage and handle insurance claim matters (if any).
• Monitor ship operations, cargo readiness and stock tank balances on a daily basis to ensure sales orders and delivery dates are met.
• Manage Petrochemical Operations
Requirements:
• Min 2 years relevant working experience in the energy / oil trading industry
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Good understanding of energy markets, futures and derivatives markets.
• Good knowledge of shipping documents L/C.
• Degree in Engineering, Business, Shipping, Maritime Studies, Logistics or equivalent.
• Independent thinks, but also team player
• Work in fast pace and time demanding environment
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Office Applications
• Currently based in or willing to relocate to Singapore.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
