Center Valley, PA - The Olympus Fellows Program was created is to develop talented business professionals by providing education, training, and hands-on experience across Olympus business units and functions. Fellows will be immersed in practical training with functional subject matter experts and business leaders who will provide both mentoring and guidance throughout the program. The program is designed as a two-year rotation with four six-month assignments in a specific business and/or corporate function; these areas may include: Medical Systems, Scientific Equipment, Consumer Imaging, and Corporate.
Most Fellows will be located in our Center Valley, PA, headquarters for the Americas with possible rotations at locations throughout North America.
For the current academic year, we are also seeking a candidate who will either be located in our Latin America headquarters in Miami, FL, or focus on Latin America operations from Center Valley, PA, for the entire two-years of the Fellows Program. The candidate must be fluent in English and Spanish (speaking, reading and writing) and will preferbly also be fluent in Portugese (speaking, reading and writing). At the conclusion of the two-year program, the Fellow will be able to apply for any open position as determined by position availability, and as directed by executive management and the Fellow's interest and career aspirations. For each rotation, it is expected that the Fellow will complete distinct projects that will aid in identifying the individual Fellow's strengths and ability to meet identified goals. EOE M/F/D/V

* A Bachelor of Arts or Science degree or Master's-level degree is required. Program is limited to undergraduate and graduate degrees only.
* Candidate must graduate within the current academic year (December 2011 through June 2012)
* A minimum of a 3.0 GPA (in degree major or cumulative) is required.
* A proven academic excellence and a passion for continued learning is essential.
* The ability to communicate complex ideas clearly, to work collaboratively, and to influence others are necessary.
* Must be comfortable with quantitative and qualitative analysis and take a creative, yet pragmatic, approach to problem solving, while maintaining quality.
* Must have demonstrated leadership skills.
* Strong computer skills are vital.
