We are seeking a Facilities Operations Manager to be responsible for the execution of operations and maintenance at a data center owned by a major telecommunications organization.  They will act as a Property Manager, dealing with contract services supporting the facilities, manage the day-to-day operations to ensure the operations, maintenance and vendor management standards are met in a cost effective, safe and efficient manner.   
 

 
 

 
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience is required.  Experience in mission critical/data center environment, managing 100% uptime, is required.  A BOMA, IFMA or equivalent certification is also preferred.  Five years of facility management or building operations experience required with three years of supervisory experience in management, budgeting, vendor management, operations and maintenance.  Must demonstrate leadership abilities, organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  Experience working in a union environment a plus.  Ability to deal with customers and others at all levels. 
 
Must be able to work in various shifts, holidays and weekends.  May require the ability to travel.
