Business Unit Overview:
The APAC OnBoarding team is responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of all portfolio launch and change activities within BlackRock, across the region. The primary focus of the team is to establish the framework required to deliver a best in class client service experience. The team works with the numerous internal and external stakeholders, namely the Client Business and Investment teams, to ensure the successful delivery of these events.

There are two key deliverables for the OnBoarding team –
Implementation and Design: Work with sponsors, clients and all relevant stakeholders to understand requirements, develop solutions and safely implement portfolios
Data Integrity: Structure portfolio data in core systems in line with the account objectives, to ensure that client assets can be accurately managed and serviced

 

Job Purpose/Background:
Working within the team carries responsibility for establishing the client service framework for new BlackRock clients. In addition, the role will also ensure the timely and accurate implementation of subsequent new and change events. It is a role that is exposed to significant financial, reputational and operational risk, and consequently requires a highly-skilled Client Service Operations specialist to perform the launch-lead function.

Consequently, exposure will be gained to all parts of the business including the Investment Services Group (ISG), Strategic Product Management (SPM), the Institutional Client Business (ICB) teams and the various support services across the firm.
