Onboarding Specialist recruitment

The purpose of the role is to be a part of a newly formed team which is a key component of the on-boarding process of clients within the Swiss platform of the company. The specialists are the first point of entry into Operations from the front office, in relation to the account opening process.

Job Description

Monitoring and Control of KYC

-Review and sign off account opening documents, client profiles and corroborate standard risk accounts

-Ensure the relevant completeness check of all documentation, client profiles and corroboration for SF PEP accounts

-Ensure that there are regular ongoing interactions with bankers and other important stakeholders, in order to ensure the provision of relevant advice and guidance with regards to account opening applications. 

Provide Effective Control and Risk Management

-Ensure that his/her own skills and training are fully compliant and keep up to date with changes to the current KYC Policy and Procedures.

-Generate accurate and timely Management Information; the analyst will play an important role in the collection and provision of such data.

-Provide audit support, ensuring assistance with pre-audit preparation as well as liaison and co-ordination with Internal/External Audit and Compliance Monitoring teams.

-Assistance with the resolution of Audit recommendations as well as for ensuring adherence to local legislation and to Group Policies.

Skills and experience

Professional/technical experience

-Good numerical and analytical skills gained in an Operational environment

-Good understanding of local KYC and Compliance

Academic and professional qualifications

-Educated to degree level or equivalent. External accreditations in the areas of compliance or KYC would be a strong asset.

Language skills

Fluency in English and French is essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills are critical for the role
