We have an exciting opportunity for a true sales professional from within the Online Advertising arena to join a global leader. This is a role where the individual will be responsible for generating revenue by negotiating a broad range of advertising deals. A consultative sales technique will be required, coupled with organisational and relationship skills needed to drive a long sales process. You will feel comfortable prospecting, cold calling, and negotiating in person and via the phone on both transactional and high value / exposure deals. An ability to identify, develop and manage a valuable prospect list based on the organisations product offering is crucial. In addition to having excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, self-motivation and highly goal orientated in order to achieve ambitious targets.
Responsibilities:
· Build and manage an active sales pipeline to ensure that revenue targets will be met
· Present and sell organisations display advertising products including brand placements, targeting and direct response advertising.
· Grow and deepen the agency relationships and understanding of the clients and industries they services
· Collaborate with Account Managers to provide the highest level of customer service to all clients.
Essential Skills:
- Substantial relevant online advertising sales experience – familiarity and knowledge of the media agencies industry is essential. Knowledge of their clients a bonus
- Significant sales experience and success
- Demonstrable ability to close sales and generate revenue
- Strong track record of high level negotiation and relationship management (internal and external)
- Ability to interact with a broad set of businesses and presenting both over the phone and in person
- Strong analytical abilities
- Degree educated
