About the Position
The Online Course Developer is very strategic to the growth of Sourcefire's education program and to our customers, partners and internal employees. This person will have responsibility for the creation of e-learning courses based on our ILT classes. Other responsibilities include leveraging SCORM to integrate course content with the Taleo Learn LMS, and building content using the Taleo Learn course designer tool.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop WBT based on Sourcefire's instructor led training classes
- Build courses that are compatible with SCORM 2004 to leverage LMS tracking and feedback
- Integrate custom quizzes and interactive learning objects into online courses
- Understand different web development tools and how they integrate with the Taleo Learn LMS
Required Skills
- 5+ years of online course development work experience required
- Expert knowledge of the following e-learning development tools: Articulate Presenter, ScreenFlow, Captivate, and Lectora
- 5+ years of SCORM development standards and SCORM language
- 3+ years of Taleo Learn LMS experience (or other Learning Management System)
- Prior experience in a software company is preferable.
- Prior experience with a training company is a plus.
- Strong technical knowledge is required - MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, familiarity with conferencing and/or scheduling software, etc.
- Sales Force.com experience is a plus
- Prior experience with technical publication development tools (Adobe InDesign highly desirable)
