Job Description:
MegaPath is seeking a metric-driven and experienced Online Marketing Manager to join our already talented team. This is a key role in marketing and highly regarded for its impact on Sales. This individual will provide strategic, tactical, and project management support for MegaPath’s entire online presence. This position manages all activities in the areas PPC, SEM, SEO, and lead generation. Individual will also assist in on page conversion rate optimization, lead funnel and flow improvements.
The ideal candidate will be a balanced creative and analytical thinker that is driven by results. Candidate will be able to manage multiple online channels at a tactical level but also be able to step back and form a larger strategy. You will help create a stronger mobile presence, microsite strategy, and new forms of online lead generation. This role requires collaboration and work on cross-functional teams including external agencies, product, creative and development teams.
Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Manage or perform hands on the following areas: SEO, SEM, PPC, and conversion rate optimization.
- Build or direct digital agencies in online campaigns including landing page development, SEM, retargeting, and display ads that meet CPA goals and produce positive ROI.
- Work closely with product management and segment marketing to develop online campaigns, marketing messages and customer relationship development activities that extend our brand, build loyalty, drive leads and produce revenue.
- Leverage data and analytics to develop new acquisition strategies through paid and organic sources to generate quality leads based on lifetime value.
- Continually audit websites and provide recommendations for improving SEO visibility and performance as well as evangelize to internal teams – developing processes and best practices.
- Assist in SEO strategy development, analysis, and execution of SEO programs related to indexation, content, and linking.
- Perform conversion rate optimization through landing page strategies, AB/MVT testing, and lead form testing.
- Synthesize data from multiple sources to maintain weekly and monthly internal reporting. Serve as an internal expert for data analysis, support management with ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
- Determine best practices for evaluating and analyzing online performance; create and implement measurement and tracking strategies, providing analysis and reports. Formulate recommendations based on the analysis and take action.
- Provide creative direction and concept development for all online communications that support company branding and product promotional efforts. Collaborate on or direct copywriting, design and production of web assets for a variety of projects, including search engine ranking.
Job Requirements:
Desired Skills and Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in marketing, internet marketing, or equivalent.
· Minimum 5 years of experience in online marketing, preferably in multiple channels.
· In depth knowledge of web analytics tools and methodology
· Ability to analyze data and formulate marketing strategies
· Experience managing paid search accounts with attention to quality score, granular bid management, and tracking.
· Knowledge of HTML and how websites function which include: .htaccess files, 301 redirects, robots.txt, and sitemaps.
· Experience with content management systems and mobile a plus.
· Experience with the following, or equivalent tools: Google Analytics, Adwords, Adwords Editor, SalesForce.com, Google Webmaster Tools.
