An experienced Online Marketing Manager with good SEO,  project management experience and strong understanding of the MBA audience is required. 

 

Job description

Working with the Head of Online Product and business units the successful candidate will be tasked with driving the prominence a global brand in the graduate management education sector. Joining a market leading company at an exciting time of expansion and diversification this role can lead to personal and professional development.

 

The role will be focussed on all marketing elements of our websites, which include events, content, interactivity and business school profiles and will be crucial in terms of providing marketing expertise to the online product team to make future decisions on the structure and features on the site.

 

With a passion for online marketing, you will have previous experience managing online projects and driving customer acquisition and customer retention. You will have the ability to write and interpret business requirements, and will be liaising with stakeholders, marketing teams, internal designers as well as 3rd party providers to ensure that activities are well co-ordinated and that deadlines requirements are met.

 

Job functions

·         Be the primary contact for the website marketing requirements

·         Provide best practice online marketing guidance to event marketing team covering:

o    Email marketing

o    Social media marketing

o    PPC marketing

o    Tracking

·         Liaise with Social Media Marketing Manager to coordinate social media activities on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn

·         Coordinate website content updates including:

o    Event landing pages

o    Section home pages

o    Rankings releases

·         Produce weekly/monthly reports with insightful commentary over usage

·         Work closely with the content team to guide the content strategy

·         Provide SEO guidance and ensure maximum organic search engine exposure

·         Contribute to the online marketing discussion throughout the company

 

Key skills

·         Strong understanding of the MBA audience

·         Understanding of event management

·         Excellent HTML knowledge

·         Strong social media marketing skills

·         Email marketing experience

·         Expertise in search engine optimisation techniques

·         Experience with Google Analytics (CoreMetrics advantageous)

·         Inquisitive, entrepreneurial mind an advantage

·         Team orientated, creative individual with sense of humour
