Retail Banking Services are the public face of CommBank, delivering a seamless banking experience for the future to our 10 million + personal and small business customers.Online Banking is accountable for understanding how customers want to deal with the Retail Bank online. The Online Banking team create and drive the overall business strategy that provides the experiences customers are seeking and deliver innovation and services they value.
The Opportunity
Working in the Online Sales team, the Online Sales Manager will liaise with various internal stakeholders to develop and execute ongoing initiatives that will deliver online sales end to end, increase sales conversion and maximise the online customer experience.
What will success look like?
- You will liaise with colleagues across Online Banking, Marketing, Digital Channels, Product Enterprise Services to maximise the online customer experience through the execution of online sales initiatives.
- Engaging with the Online Sales Optimisation function you will drive continuous improvement by understanding customers' online behaviour and profiles.
- You will create hypotheses for A/B and multivariate tests to ensure online sales content is relevant and robust allowing for website optimisation.
- You will apply insights to enhance customers' online experience, optimise online traffic and maximise sales conversions.
- You will monitor developments and opportunities in the online spaceto develop new initiatives.
- You will act as a role model, displaying leadership behaviours that encourage transparent and productive working relationships and a strong customer focused culture across the broader team.
What will help you succeed?
- Essentially you will have extensive online sales and/or direct marketing experience.
- You will have a demonstrated ability to create hypotheses for A/B and multivariate tests as well as analysing online metrics to drive improvements in the end to end sales funnel and website optimisation.
- You will have developed sound business analysis skills preferably in a large financial services organisation and the ability to support business development by applying insights using web analytics tools such as Omniture.
- You possess the ability to interact effectively and develop strong relationships with stakeholders at multiple levels in order to achieve business objectives.
