Operating Journeyman Trainee
This position will operate, maintain, repair, overhaul and troubleshoot issues related to boilers, air compressors, pumps, refrigeration systems, chillers, diesel generator systems, hydraulic systems, HVAC systems, Direct Digital Control systems, domestic water systems, fire sprinkler system and any other tasks as assigned related to the mechanical systems throughout the facility. Work will be performed to ensure proper equipment operation and reliability, providing a high level of customer service. Tasks may include mechanical and metal fabrication. Perform any other duties as assigned, including rebuild of pumps, air compressors. Perform or assist with Air Handler and Terminal Box preventive maintenance tasks including controlling fans, dampers, etcetera via DDC and to assist the Fire Department in testing repairs. QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent. Five years of experience performing both preventive and corrective maintenance at the journeyperson level at manufacturing or production environments utilizing boiler systems. Must possess valid City of Seattle or Tacoma Grade III steam license or above, the ability to obtain a Washington Driver License.
