Operating Systems Engineer
OVERVIEW:
Multiple Technicians needed!
This position provides installation of desktop computers, thin clients, applications, and related technology. Activities require interaction with application software and operating systems to diagnose and resolve unique, non-recurring problems. Candidate must be a self-starter, customer service oriented and able to work in a fast paced environment. Work schedule, Mon - Fri.
Duties include, but not limited to the following:
* Handle department moves including disconnecting and reconnecting of PC's and printers.
* Set up all IT equipment as needed including new clinics or hospital areas.
* Assist Desktop Support if necessary.
* Provide break-fix and troubleshoot all IT related issues as they arise.
* Work on COW's (Computer on Wheels) and deploy as they are fixed.
* Determine work priorities, assign and schedule work load.
* Organize own work assignments to contribute to smooth work flow.
* Adhere to internal controls established for department.
* Perform related duties as needed.
* Travel may be required
REQUIREMENTS:
* Associate's Degree or equivalent and one year related experience
* Microsoft Windows and Office environment experience
* Macintosh and Thin Clients a plus
* Knowledge of DHCP / Static IP
* Experience with mapping drives, printer installations, various methods for moving data
* High level customer service skills
* Must be able to perform in a team environment
* Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
This is a 3 month contract position.
