Operational Due Diligence – Hedge Funds
This is a unique opportunity to relocate to Abu Dhabi and work with a high profile Investment Management organisation in a role focussed on the due diligence of potential hedge fund investments.
Responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for developing and implementing operational due diligence assessments in accordance with industry best practice
- Assessing potential new investments for operational risk issues as well as monitor existing investments from an operational standpoint.
- Develop due diligence plans, pre-meeting preparation, conducting on-site reviews and interviews, coordinating reference checks, conducting terms review, and preparing final assessment reports.
- Responsible for developing Hedge Fund Operational Risk Management platform
- Review and monitor the audited financial statements of investment managers
- Maintain a database of investment funds operational data.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience in an operational due diligence function in the Hedge Fund industry.
- Ideally a background in internal or external audit within the financial sector.
- Thorough knowledge of investment fund operations and risk management practices.
- Multi asset class product understanding from an operational standpoint (particularly credit/fixed income)
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytically minded and high attention to detail
