Operational Excellence Project Manager recruitment
My client, a leading energy company in the UK, is looking to hire an Upstream Energy Operational Excellence Project Manager to join a new operational excellence team, where the chosen candidate will lead improvement initiatives throughout the asset portfolio and help the business develop their performance and operational standards.
Job Description:
-Deliver operational improvement projects within their upstream asset portfolio.
-Contribute to the operational excellence of the company.
-Manage project teams.
-Work closely with asset leadership and functional teams to ensure operational and process excellence (This will require communication with technical engineers).
-Ensure operational excellence spans the entire business.
Experience required:
-Upstream energy experience is crucial to this role. Please do not apply without extensive upstream experience.
-Front line project management skills, preferably in the upstream energy space.
-Superior analytical skills – ideally gained from a top management consultancy.
- Concise, creative presentation skills
-Heavy upstream energy knowledge and experience, specifically dealing with assets.
-Strong appreciation of the energy value chain and the upstream processes.
-Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
