Operational Risk – Business Control Senior Analyst recruitment
Position:
As Business Control Senior Analyst, you will lead the Operational Risk assessments to identify and monitor all Operational Risk of the Market Risk functions. This is a high profile role as you will be expected to present and highlight the High Risk areas to Senior Management. Essentially, you will be responsible to ensure global compliance standards on Operational Risk guidelines and facilitate internal and external audits.
Responsibilities:
- Enforce compliance standards for auditable Market Risk documents.
- Implement processes and controls for the Operational Risks assessments across all Market Risk functions.
- Internal and external audit of documents, including following up of post-audit outstanding issues.
- Identify key Operational Risks and controls, work closely with production teams to alleviate the Risks and improve controls when needed.
- Ensuring that Policies, Practice Guides and Procedures are reviewed and up-to-date.
- Maintain the Group Market Risk Documentations.
- Work with the Process Governance Committee to plan agendas and run monthly meetings.
- Present potential Risks areas to Senior Management
The Candidate:
Ideally, you will have a solid understanding of the Financial Markets and Risk Management. You will have a deep understanding and familiarity of implementing controls in Operational Market Risk and its processes, therefore an eye for detail is crucial. You will excel in interpersonal skills and be a confident individual in order to engage the Senior Management and endorsement of Operational Risk.
