Operational Risk – VP Investment Bank recruitment
Based in the London Head Office the successful candidate will establish and maintain strong partnerships with regional businesses, providing subject matter expertise on Operational Risk.
Key responsibilities include :
• Lead the production and preparation of high quality materials, analysis and MI reporting in support of senior management meetings
• Establish a leadership role during key stages of the Risk Control Self Assessment process
• Lead global coordination amongst Operational Risk Management team colleagues to ensure global control and risk rating consistency
• Complete review and challenge of incident root cause, Key Risk Scenarios and proposed action plan(s)
• Conduct incident trend analysis and identify potential themes for internal discussion and escalation
• Attend all New Product calls as Operational Risk’s representative
• Prepare Operational Risk Capital Application documentation
The successful candidate will have very strong product knowledge a detailed understanding of regulatory/and market best practice in Operational Risk Management. The must also have the softer skills to adapt their style to meet stakeholder needs and the ambition to succeed.
