Due to a greater need to identify and escalate operational processes and procedures, a fantastic role has been created for a strong banker or auditor in Operational Risk. Reporting into the senior manager you will be responsible for ensuring all controls assessments are carried out and will focus on monitoring any operational risk issues and escalating events where need be.
You will understand and identify processes where there is increased risk to the bank and will be responsible in remediating issues as they arise. You will assist in embedding consistent processes and will provide practical process advice on early identification of operational risk issues. With an eye for detail, you will accurately capture risk events and will also build and monitor periodic reporting and incident management. Partnering with key stakeholders, you will be required to analyse issues and provide feedback and support where needed.
To be suitable for this role it is essential you have proven operational risk experience. It is key that you hold strong product knowledge across the complex global markets space and are up to date with current market practice. You will be effective in engaging stakeholders and demonstrate a strong track record of analytical achievement within your career to date. If you are a self starter and goal oriented, we should talk.
