Operational Risk Analyst recruitment
A leading Investment Bank has opened up a new and exciting role as an Operational Risk Analyst. You will be involved on a number of control initiatives being managed by the Team. You will be working with business areas and support functions, to identify, assess, monitor and report on the operational risks the bank faces. You will need solid communication skills, good interpersonal skills and to be an exceptional team player.
Role/Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the development of economic capital models and ensure a fit for purpose AMA framework, incorporating risk transfer / mitigation techniques.
- An insight into one of the most dynamic divisions within the Bank.
- Experience of work within a cross business team, which will help develop an even stronger understanding of global investment banking.
- Technical development: Solid grounding in operational risk and control activities.
- Develop project management skills.
Skills
- Knowledge of operational risk methodologies
- Previous experience of working in an investment bank within a similar function
- A financial services background, ideally in investment banking.
- Good understanding of the project lifecyle.
- Confident self starter with a demonstrable ability to build good business relationships.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Applications Project management experience.
