This covers areas including risk management and control, finance, legal and compliance, marketing and communications, funding, capital and balance sheet management, management of foreign currency earnings, human resources, information technology infrastructure and service centers.
The Operational Risk Framework and Capital (OR FC) Team function is seeking a talented and ambitious professional as an Operational Risk Analyst. Our team is seeking an Operational Risk Analyst with a risk, finance or compliance background to work as a consultant, project manager and analyst. The position will support the communication, promotion, education and implementation of the Operational Risk Framework. The role is based in Zürich and is a full-time position.
The candidate will have a minimum of 2-4 years experience in risk management/control, compliance, audit or business support/management role within the financial services industry. You will act as an analyst, consultant and project manager for internal as well as external requests/projects and will need to demonstrate the necessary ability and focus to meet [INVALID-WORD]nt deadlines.
The main roles and responsibilities will include:
* Active support on all aspects of the Operational Risk Framework 2.0 roll-out program
* Preparation and upgrade of Operational Risk training and education material
* Support senior Operational Risk Control (ORC) management and senior stakeholders across UBS
* Communication of Operational Risk framework to key stakeholders, supporting content delivery mechanisms such as the ORC webpage
* Support and enhance ongoing processes completed by the OR FC team
* Coordination and support to ensure management of all regulatory requirements
* Identifying, upgrading or implementing operational risk policies, guidelines and directives
* Management of internal and external audit requirements
* Project management of key ORC projects and initiatives
* Governance of internal committees and forums
* Provide clear and concise risk reports and statistics to internal and external stakeholders
* Perform quality control on risk report content and ensure clear communication of underlying risks
* Build, maintain and strengthen partnering with business functions to collect, aggregate and report risk information
* Coordination, preparation and ongoing enhancement of the report production cycle
You will bring with you:
* University Degree educated with additional Financial Services Education or Qualifications being advantageous
* Experience in compliance, audit, risk control or operational risk functions preferred
* Be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and a team player with strong communication skills
* Proven Project Management and time management skills (completing assignments and being able to prioritize work effectively)
* Strong attention to detail and ability/willingness to be involved in a range of activities at one time
* Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, with German language skills being an advantage
* Communication/educational and web publishing skills would be beneficial
