Operational Risk and Control ( AVP/VP) recruitment
This is an ideal role for an individual who has worked in a similair function and has knowledge of the operational risk and controle framework within an investment bank.
The main odjectives of this role are:
- To drive forward a control framework within operations, with particular focus on governance, accountability and transparacy of information.
- Coordinate the production of the complete operations end to end status ensuring information is accurate and consistent on a rolling reporting cycle.
- Drive the production of Key Control and Performance indicators by challenging / validating as appropriate with the product Risk and Control officers to provide written commentary against status.
The main Functions are :
- Ownership of the monthly KPI process.
- Own the Monthly Attestation process
- Independently review effectiveness of control procedures
- Establish robust infrastructure to report, track and assess key risks
- Work with Line managers to remediate control gaps identified from root cause analysis and lessons learnt
