I am currently representing an outstanding Global Bank who are currently looking to enhance their Risk and Compliance function.
Operating in niche markets across Corporate Banking and Capital Markets, they are a leading institution in their areas of specialism, and have been recognised both in the UK and globally as a high-performing bank. Due to their continued growth and aim to increase their market presence responsibly, they are expanding their risk and compliance team with additional headcount.
This position will have hands on responsibility across Operational Risk and Compliance, responsible for embedding group frameworks and acting as the UK subject matter expert for Operational Risk. The opportunity is there to work proactively with the business to identify, measure, mitigate and manage risks within the UK Branch. You will also develop within the area of AML and KYC, as you increase your compliance experience and knowledge.
The ideal candidate for this role is likely to come from a global Corporate and Investment Bank, and have built an impressive track record within Operational Risk, or potentially within Compliance if you hold a keen interest in Operational Risk. The right candidate will potentially have 5-7 years experience in Operational Risk and/or Compliance. They are likely to have a high quality degree in a relevant subject.
