Operational Risk Control recruitment
Responsibilities
- Operational planning in line with business needs and operational risk control issues.
- Coordinate and facilitate the implementation of projects, new product or operating system.
- Act as key liaison between users and IT Department in system/EUC (End User) development to ensure users’ requirements are provided for.
- Check and confirm new/amendments to Procedures Manual.
- Investigate and make recommendation on any operation-related issues to improve efficiency, resolve gridlock in workflow etc.
- Follow-up on internal audit findings related to operations matters.
- Plan and coordinate internal inspection
- Coordinate branch-wide risk assessment
- Coordinate the Operational Risk Control Committee (ORCC) and provide updates / ideas to ORCC if necessary
Requirements
- 3 to 8 years' working experience in banking operation and/or system management such as migration to new system platforms etc.
- Knowledge of banking operations processes and systems is necessary
- Self-motivated person with a strong interest in operation planning;
- Proactive and client focused
- Able to work independently as well as in a team;
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and
- Proficient in Microsoft applications
- Diploma/Degree (preferably in Finance or Business)
